Great match-up, however it's Sunset Blvd. easily for me.
Love the dark noirish tone and visuals, the scathing black humor, plus it opens with the main character floating dead in a swimming pool. It's near perfect and probably my favorite "classic" Hollywood film.
I've only seen All About Eve once and although I remember liking it well enough, nothing really stood out for me personally.
