I might just be too cynical and jaded at this point; I think it's too early.
I hope NuWells isn't going to keep that accent the whole season. I kept expecting, and still do, for them to realize he's such a huckster that he puts on his accent to sound more mysterious. I kind of hope it's Ralph who figures him out.
I'm also a little annoyed with all the Wells(es?) being such multiverse experts; Harry knew all the ins and outs of how many universes there were, including a secret earth that no one visited, and now this one has "solved" the case of Cicada on numerous alternate earths.... They're kind of taking for granted that these are entirely separate universes that should have wildly diverging histories and events. Plus, Earth 1 Wells seems like an idiot by comparison, for just being a run of the mill genius who by all accounts was simply going to build a boring old particle accelerator and not crack open the multiverse and peak inside. It's gotten cartoonish.
And when I posted on the old board back in season 2 about each season having it's own new, separate Harry with different wacky personalities, I was joking.
I still think they're premature in revealing the season big bad to the main characters, or even to the audience, this early in the season. Whenever they do this, it never fails to end up dragging on, because they still have like 20+ episodes to go; and most of them are going to be the same thing - let's find Cicada, we have to find Cicada, how do we stop Cicada..... rinse and repeat.
I mean, if you go back to season 1, Barry doesn't see the Reverse Flash for the first time (as an adult/as the Flash) until episode 9; and even though the audience learns Wells is "the man in the yellow suit," the main characters don't for several more episodes, which decidedly alters how they go about trying to take him on. It's paced much differently, and arguably better.
I still maintain the gold standard of the perfectly structured and paced action/fantasy/drama was season 3 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The Mayor isn't introduced, much less shown to the audience to be definitively a bad guy until episode 5, but he isn't on the radar of the main characters until episode 15; and during the prior episodes there were one offs that had some great character building, and in some cases would even tie-in with the larger season arc.
But maybe they'll prove me wrong on that, for once...
I'm not sure what to expect from Caitlyn's story. The thing that stuck out to me is that she
Eh, while I appreciate the idea of having a good time with someone that looks like Danielle Panabaker, that goes into some creepy territory, what with Caitlyn never remember what KF does; and the whole thing of Ralph sleeping with someone's split personality and Caitlyn having no recollection, let alone consent, as to what was being done to her body....
And I thought I heard over the summer that they were going to

I'm not sure what to expect from Caitlyn's story. The thing that stuck out to me is that she
sees this hidden message left by her dad for her to come looking for him
, but he's been gone how long and she is only seeing it now? And she would have never gone looking if not for Killer Frost. When she does finally find him, he's going to be like, "I left that message for you like, 15 years ago; I'm fine now. I got tired of waiting.... That, or he's going to be dead for real by this point...
now if when she does get her powers back and Frost persona returns she and Ralphy have a night of icy karma sutra fun as a one off I wouldn't be opposed to it for the yucks of Caitlyn immediately regretting getting Frost back
And I thought I heard over the summer that they were going to
bring Ralph's future wife Sue on
at some point this season?
