A few that come to mind for me are… Modern Times Psycho THX-1138 Cabaret Being There Batman (1989) "Psycho" and "Cabaret" are both very intense final shots. I would also add Amy Irving being held by her mom in "Carrie" and the freeze frame final shot of "Gallipoli" |
