Nobody actually cares if any movie in the MCU wins an Oscar. It doesn't make watching the movies better if it did. It's only you guys that care if does or doesn't win. Like it would hurt your feelings.
Disney didn't want that category. It was the Academy that made that up to get more viewership because they thought it they should get something for movies people watched. Why do you think it disappeared as soon as it was brought up?

This has been extensively disproven by the fine and tireless work of DC-Fan, who has exposed Disney's fraudulent and pathetic attempts to garner an Oscar for BP in multiple threads. You can do a little work and look them up, but this argument has been settled.
