I used to not mind explosions but recently I noticed that I no longer enjoy seeing people and things destroyed .
As an example, I re-watched Speed which I has seen before and remembered liking but had to fast forward through parts of it because they were just too real to bear. For me, watching death and destruction is just not entertaining.
