lenlenlen1 For me, the best horror movies are the ones who leave a lot (if not most) to the imagination. I agree about explosions sometimes being "satisfying"... that truck in Thelma and Louise as an example. THAT was deserved and pretty awesome. I was actually surprised at my reaction to Speed. I think it was the combination of the torturous tormenting bully of an insane villain and explosive events in real-life that made it so unbearable. Rather a shame because it is a good movie and I know it's just my personal reaction to it. .
