How do these people even get to work in television in the first place? Is it because of prior success with other shows or do they know people in the industry? Do standards no longer exist when you employ somebody to write a tv show? Is the bar set this low now?  You get what you pay for. If you're a small network you don't have the money to get the cream of the crop but must scrape the bottom of the barrel.  Thou shalt not sayeth the name of the beast... Begone Evil One!!!! . . . . . . Oh you meant the other Felicity, the one people actually like, ok fair enough.
