As a kid I remember the onslaught of pre-promotion surrounding an Indian model Persis Khambatta who scored a bald role in a heavily hyped star trek - the motion picture (1979). Unfortunately, she was hopeless, couldn't act for peanuts, and her subsequent movie career went nowhere fast. See ya later. I remember her in "Nighthawks" with Sylvester Stallone. |
