6/10 – I found it cliché-ridden and preachy. The closing lines about "fighting ourselves" in Vietnam were silly.
Many people knock Charlie Sheen's performance by saying he looked out of place. Well, that was an integral part of the story: the character is supposed to be out of place. Stone himself was from a comfortable upbringing and it undoubtedly was clear to his fellow GIs over there.
