Because it's a young Norman. But there are just as many who insist it's supposed to lead into the movie-exactly. No matter how many times people say, the writers are doing their own story. They'll keep insisting otherwise. They are all over Facebook. The really funny part is they are extremely adamant – if not aggressive – about their opinion. It's definitely a prequel in their eyes and anyone who disagrees is an idiot for not picking up on. Part of it is that some of them don't read any of the interviews that have been done. Then again there are just as many who were upset Norman started killing....because they never saw the movie, nor had any idea of the "background" of Bates/Psycho. They thought he would be a nice boy, & Norma-the actual Norma-was the bad person. |
