Oh man, it's been so long since I've actually watched the Arrow pilot. I remember having my doubts about this new, grittier take on the Green Arrow, and I was ambivalent about Oliver snapping the neck of a goon in order to "protect his secret." but that I ultimately came away very impressed with the series and quickly enamored with it, if not after the first episode, soon after (but I think it was right away).
I'd say the experience was similar with The Flash; the pilot isn't fresh in my memory, but it drew me in pretty much right away.
I'm torn between Supergirl and Legends having the weaker start. Supergirl has always been it's own worst enemy, often being to heavy handed with their after-school-special message of the week. Legends bore very little resemblance to the original trailer released for that show (which it became quickly evident that they only shot to sell the series then completely disregarded). The series as a whole is clearly a desperate bid to continue using characters they wanted to play with more than any of the shows that spawned them could allow, but that they had no coherent plan for what the show would be about or what they were doing.
Overall, this guy's videos are meant to be taken with a grain of salt; he likes to knit pick, but always tongue in cheek. His Cinema Sins channel, which only recently spawned TV Sins, has a lot of fun reviews of movies. I especially like his eternal disdain for everything Twilight.
