FINALLY Season 4 started on TV here the other night and we got the first two episodes.
**spoilers below if you haven’t seen them (though I think probably just about everyone else who posted in this thread already has)**
I think the part that stood out the most in the first episode was near the end, as Jennifer Goines once again stole those show. At first I was wondering what was up with the red hair, the husky voice and the 'badass' skills...and then we discovered that what we’d seen happen during her ‘heist’ wasn’t how things had actually played out. The reality was far more hilarious.
I’m sure quite a few people think they’re ‘cooler’ than they actually are...but poor Jennifer was imagining a whole other self being cool. The security guard’s reaction pretty much mirrored my own...but then I felt bad for her.
In the second episode, it was nice to see Season 1 Ramse again – back when he was still likeable/not a backstabber and it was also sad seeing Cole’s reactions to Ramse-of-old, knowing what would happen later.
The actor who plays Varys in Game of Thrones looked like a totally different person in this with hair (both on his head and face).
I was sad to see redheaded Jennifer die...though she did so in an amusing way (of course). I’m fairly sure that real Jennifer isn’t gone for good...but that ending nevertheless made me think, “NO! She CAN’T be dead!!”.
My main hope for this final season is that the show doesn’t drop the ball like so many other shows seem to do in their final seasons. But from what I can recall you saying about the final season, @deblovesbeccy , it doesn't sound like it will be a disappointment - I hope that is indeed the case.
