Yeah. I have read a few articles about the ‘Razor’ movie on Google News since it was first announced Rob Cohen was directing it and I will post a few of them below and ‘Razor’ is being produced by Jeff Most who was the producer of ‘The Crow’ and ‘Number 11 Films’ is fully financing and handling worldwide sales and this will be their first under their partnership with Lotus Entertainment. Movie view which is a leading film publication is also co-producing the movie and has Greater China distribution rights and from what San Mu (of Movie View) has to say about Razor “it is an action packed, female driven revenge and redemption story with long term franchise potential and who better to be partnering with than Rob Cohen who has launched some of the most successful action franchises in history and Jeff Most who did such an amazing job with The Crow.” “We couldn’t be more excited to be co-producing the launch of the Razor franchise with such well-placed, experienced and knowledgeable Chinese production and marketing talent as San Mu and the rest of the team at Truth Fair Investment and Movie View International,” adds Jeff Most.” I don’t know what the budget is going to be for ‘Razor’ but it may have changed since 2010 since the movie didn’t have Number 11 Films, Lotus Entertainment, Big Fish, Head Gear, Truth Fair Investment and Movie View involved in it before and it might also no longer be filmed here in Australia either. It is hard to tell ‘cause a lot has changed over the past 8 years but I would probably only count the things from when Rob Cohen was announced to be directing as still happening ‘cause they are more recent. This interview with him earlier this year is interesting and he speaks a lot about the ‘Razor’ movie and it was done before they cast Emma in the role but is worth a read.
EXCLUSIVE! Rob Cohen Considering Either Anya Taylor-Joy or Hailee Steinfeld For RAZOR
I am looking forward to seeing 'Razor' and whether it is a hit or not remains to be seen 'cause it is not the type of comic book movie that is going to get a lot of children in attendance like the DC and Marvel movies do and I think that is good for the genre 'cause what comic book movies could use is some well needed diversity and we have a large amount of different genres in comic books and many are Horror, Fantasy, Romance and Sci Fi but all we have got for the past 20 years is light superhero movies and 'Razor' will be the first proper Horror superhero movie since 'Blade' and most likely the most violent since 'The Crow' movies and it is very different than anything DC or Marvel has done and goes into far out Horror territory which could benefit it 'cause it could get fans of both Horror and superhero movies going to see it.

Ohh. They are definitely violent. The comic book series had a reputation when it came out in the 90s for being one of the most controversial series of all time 'cause of all the violence, blood, guts and nudity in it and it was banned in stores in America but despite that it was still one of the biggest selling comic book series of the 90s and was outselling a number of DC and Marvel's biggest sellers at the time which was very impressive for an adult comic book series. An important thing people are going to have to remember with Razor is while it is a superhero series it is not one that is aimed at children and Razor swears her head off in the comic books and slashes guys heads and penises off, cuts their innards out and baths in people's blood. For those who thought 'The Crow' was dark 'Razor' goes even further and we have never had a comic book movie this graphic before or sexually explicit.
