That depends on your process. I say, you’re an artist and, you shouldn’t be obligated to provide previews of in-progress work. It would be different if we were patrons or cash-paying customers. I usually do it for my family and friends on facebook, so not out of the ordinary. Especially for the next few pics, it's still going to be a very Rough sketch. After completing it I will go back and firm it up then proceed from there. As long as everybody knows the first few will be rough it'll be ok. If that's what works for you, I say go for it. I'd rather be surprised and, no doubt delighted, by the final piece. I'm not really big on spoiler culture. Treating this like a work-for-hire is a perfectly valid approach though.
