I loved to watch this show, even thought it was little more than a 1/2 hour commercial for Jon Gnagy art supplies.
Well, when I was a teenager, my folks bought me the basic "Learn to Draw" kit.
I'll always remember one evening where my best friend and I decided to draw the same thing--the rosy-cheeked little Mexican boy.
As encouraging as I tried to be, her drawing was very bad, while mine was exactly as it was supposed to look.
Apologies for the brag. ;-)
I felt encouraged to pursue art more diligently after that.
Jon Gnagy died decades ago; he is now forgotten and the franchise has disappeared.
Very sad, IMO.
