Counting the days until November 28th. I love this show. Do you watch The Last Kingdom? It's a much better interpretation of history, from the Anglo-Saxon perspective. I enjoyed the first two seasons of Vikings but the quality has gone downhill with each season after that. It's completely off the rails now, and as you said earlier it has virtually nothing to do with actual history at this point. TLK isn't perfect with its history either, but it at least tries to use history as a template and the first two seasons have historical easter eggs thrown in as well. Season 3 just debuted on Netflix yesterday. I'm still going to watch Vikings, but this will probably be the last season for me. I don't know who decided Ivar was an interesting character, but I certainly don't concur. Characters switch allegiances constantly and for no reason other than the writers didn't know what else to do. Lagertha must be in her 50s by now and hasn't aged a day. Nothing makes sense on this show anymore. I think peak Vikings (probably season 2) is probably better than any single season of The Last Kingdom in terms of pure quality entertainment, but the last few seasons of Vikings have descended into chaos as the writers throw stuff against a wall and see what sticks. I'm much more excited about TLK than Vikings. Edit: I just saw another of your previous posts where you mention TLK. Anyway let this post serve as an advertisement to Vikings fans for TLK. If you like Vikings, I think you'll enjoy The Last Kingdom quite a bit as well.
