I just think it’s more profound to post without using a selfie. Like the guy said, it’s not like he was a part of you or your personal life. It would make more sense if it were with a relative of yours that passed. Humans are social beings. It's our connection to a person that makes their death so tragic for us. And if the highest amount of connection you have to someone is a selfie that lasted all of 5 seconds but ended up being one of the happiest days of your life because you got to meet this one guy, then that's probably your most prized memory of that person and I see nothing wrong with you using that photo as a way to remember said person. Well said. I would’ve loved to have met him, but I never got the chance in my life.  Besides, I’m not much of a selfie guy at all. |
