It was a bit painful to part with the money, but since my winter wardrobe was getting a bit thin and hole-y, I bought two new pairs of sweatpants at Walmart yesterday - both casual and dress. It was an impulse buy to pick up a shirt with buttons and an actual collar, but it looked nice and was on sale for $7. I may never wear it, but I suppose I should have more than one. Of course, then I needed to get the fancy sweatpants. My rarely-worn pork pie hat would also complement that ensemble. {Try to avoid thinking of the "before" picture, but some people actually dress up to go to Walmart.} I also purchased the complete collection of "Wonderfalls" on DVD - Used/Very Good from Amazon, $10 with tax and shipping. Since I want for little, I have everything I want and then some. That's something not even a lot of rich people can claim. Apparently, The Key To Happiness In Life is just to lower your expectations. |
