Well that's funny because Snyder himself said he shot scenes with Darkseid, he has no idea who the Russian family is (that's a good 15 minutes of runtime) there are at least 10 minutes of CGi lip, at least 10 minutes of fat Been Affleck and bad green screen, at least five minutes of bad jokes inserted by flash and Cyborg.

No Black Superman suit, no Alfred and Clark, no Supergirl hologram, no Iris West and Flash scene, the flashback battle with man, atlantians and Amazons cut to a montage ...

Hmm, maybe Charles Roven is covering for the studio?!

The Russian family was a Whedon thing, but it totalled nothing near 15 minutes, and the CGI lip I wished was 10 minutes as it was the highlight of the film.

Whether the other stuff was going to eventually be in the film or not who knows. A likewise if it would have made it better. If Snyder had directed some it still didn't bode well if we got his "vision" because all of it was crap. It still would have Steppenwolf and Cyborg in it so no improvement there.
