Yes! He, Chewie, and C3PO are the only characters who have made me think it was a Star Wars movie so far. I’m truly of the belief that the writers/directors/producers of this one didn’t even watch the last movie they made.

Hamill’s “R2? R2!”–OK, that’s a trace of his characterization from the originals. There was more emotion on his face in that second than in anything else so far.
