Hamill’s “R2? R2!”–OK, that’s a trace of his characterization from the originals. There was more emotion on his face in that second than in anything else so far.
The one-minute scene on the Falcon between Mark and the droid is the only thing in four Disney films that truly felt like Star Wars to me.
