So, is Luke now supposed to have gone insane? I mean, look at his eyes in the flashback! It looks like Hamill’s playing a deranged Santa Claus. That’d explain his complete change in characterization.

Kylo Ren’s (don’t know the actor’s name offhand…) performance in this is better, I’ll give them that.
