Without getting too deep into it all, it's nice that Thomasin McKenzie was recognized for her performance in Leave No Trace. I just watched that a few nights ago. It's really good. It might be a bit of a shot in the dark in terms of subject material (father and daughter who voluntarily live in the woods, apprehended for living on public land and forced to justify their existence to social services) but the movie's solid and she and her "dad" are terrific.
