Also didn't logan get it last year? wonder woman got for spotlight award? wonder why this is not huge news for BP?. that is what happens when a movie that does not deserve anything is getting it.
we know if black panther had an all white cast and was not hyped by the disney pr machine with THE silly race baiting. it would never have gotten such a recognition.
see..this is what we mean when we say awards can be meaningful and meaningless.
With logan it was meaningful..a good thing for the entire genre.
for black panther it is meaningless.
Logan was a top 10 that everyone will agree and none will challenge. reason it was cheered by everyone, marvel fans, dc fans, independent comic fans. it was good for the genre.
Sadly black panther is not one and only got the award because of racism. which makes void and meaningless.
that is sad. I hate to ask but dont you mcu fans even have any self respect or dignity?one thing xmen and dc fans can say with confidence is Logan and TDK was down to artistic merit. MCU fans cant say the same for black panther and yet they dont even feel ashamed or embarrassed by black panther getting all these recognition it will never have gotten if the cast was white and disney did not race bait the shit out of the movie.
Also I find this funny, look at mcu fans and their hypocrisy when wonder woman was getting the same recognition. mcu fans cried it was because she is female, now they ignore black panther is only getting the same recognition because he is black but DC already had a trump card in TDK. We never needed wonder woman that much.
