If BvS and SS were so widely loved by the audiences, why is WB doing their best to do damage control? Reformatting the tone of their movies to make it more similar to MCU movies instead of BvS and SS? Who said they were doing damage control? They did a sequel to BvS, which was Justice League (and you never know, there may be a Snyder Cut some day), and there will be a sequel to Suicide Squad. There are even spinoffs to both films in Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman '84, Aquaman, and Birds of Prey. None of this would have happened if those two films were not successful. We would be back to watching Superman and Batman solo films again if they had been. |
