Venom for sure. Homecoming was too campy I can deal with campy. Hoemcoming was too childish. Good heavens. I cant think of the last time my 58 yr old ass found a superhero movie "childish" Adults don't do that Juvenile, maybe, but I can't think of any adults dismissing an experience as such outside of an actual kid thing like ferrying the kids to see The Grinch or the latest Disney cartoon. I don't know of any adults who dismiss a movie as being for kids. Usually because they have kids of their own & appreciate any chance to get a bit of peace & quiet. Did you ever notice most of the claddic Disney kid animations are about an hour long? Little Mermaid-83 minutes. Snow white-83 minutes. Cinderella-74 minutes Bambi-70 minutes Aladdin is long at 90 minutes. Trust me, when your kid is 3-4, everything longer than 60 minutes can be a chug. Aladdin was my kid's first theater experience-matinee & we nearly left before the end because her 2 yr old attention drifted towards the end. I was...57 when I saw Homecoming I saw Stan Lee say Holland was the right build, that he didnt envision Spidey as super muscular & I would have to say they was my feeling as well. Homecoming gave us that first high school Peter Parker. Very much a kid learning through his mistakes. The scene on the roller coaster, where he looks wiped is so VERY my vision of Spidey-even when he wins, he loses sometimes.
