It's the nature of comic books and comic book movies; characters coming back from the dead is hardly a MCU tradition alone. Superman came back in Justice League and Steve Trevor is back in the Wonder Woman sequel. The X-Men universe is so screwed up there are different iterations of the characters walking around seemingly at the same time.

In all cases (including comics and films) it cheapens the deaths of the characters in the first place, but it's not exactly a new phenomenon.
