So that was originally planned for RotJ? Interesting! As I wrote, I could see something like that, but I imagined it would have been earlier.

While he’s more of the dark wizard in the first one, I find it difficult to imagine him on a throne in a castle, as he’s so (seemingly) loyal to the Emperor, who definitely would be sitting on a throne in a castle.
