meh. it was not lazy. it is down to the directors choice. Vaughn used costumes , though it was more one uniform
Logan used no costumes. the director even explained why it wont work in his films. Also it was not a martix knock off dont go down the lieing route.stick to facts.
costumes are there to sell toys. not all directors are on board with that, some can be but choose to tone it down. if you watch avengers and winter solider you will see a huge differences. steve's costume in winter solider is toned down a lot that is because it is the only serious mcu movie.
No it is lazy. There's no excuse for weakass costumes. You know there's a problem when Cosplayers make better looking outfits than Fox, Disney and WB put out. And these studios have billions at their disposal. Stop being a Stan to these corporations. no it was not lazy. it was what the director wanted. movies go to pre production and the directors decides what he wants. Singer was a grounded guy who felt colorful costumes will look too goofy for his films so he chose not to. if he wanted , the studio would have given him colorful uniform.
and that is the point you keep missing, since you cant accept reality. xmen was never meant to where costumes so I can compare them with cosplayers. x-men was suppose to look like soldier army or swat teams. and if you notice in the real world they all were black with some leather.
costumes are for toy ads..period.
