Only reason people talk about the Joker movie is curiosity. This is a movie with no Batman, yet Joker is going to be running around as a 50 year old while Bruce is, what, 13? Gotham the movie? Spielberg just threw something out there. There will be a Spielberg directed Blackhawks movie when there will be a Whedon Batgirl movie.
