What was Xavier excuse? He has a leather fetish?
NAH.....still not true. there is nothing wrong with leather. why is it a fetish? leather is also one of the most expensive dresses. leather is good. many swat teams and police officers were them.. but feel free to insult men that serve their country because you are mad that xmen movies did not do the colourful costume gag that is meant for kids only.

also you know batman is worse right? reason why nolan wrote he had mental issues for dressing like a bat. that is a worse insult . if nolan had his way, batman wont wear costumes for the same reasons he ignored some fans when they complained catwoman had no tail and did not have cats as pets. he had no choice for batman unlike xmen were singer could play around it. batman dressed like a bat. so that had to be there. xmen dont dress up like any animal/ bats or spiders so singer was not obligated.
and like I said, this is not about costumes. the two series that dissed costumed ended up with the most intellectual and well taken serious comic films ever made. the lesson of this thread...stop obsessing about costumes. costumes dont give you intellectual comic films like xmen 1 or batman begins.
I cant remember what xavier wore most of the time. it was not what I was looking at but I remember xavier in very compelling and powerful scenes like this.
thanks but colorful costumes are not needed to make this scene better when it cant even be. the drama and emotional depth is what makes this film.
Nolan did not write that Bruce has mental issues for dressing like a bat. Bruce was playing to a crowd of rich snobs. Hell, right after that the woman goes the other way and sides with Batman. I think you are trying to change movies to fit with what you are saying.
Also, you proved everybody's point except for your own with that cop picture. His leather jacket is not restrictive. It allows him movement. Also, the jacket wasn't the real problem with their movement. It was their pants. That cop is not wearing tight leather pants. Singer went for style over function. Style over function is not being grounded. He was trying to be like The Matrix. Which is pretty funny seeing as the ones that had to do action wasn't wearing tight leather.
