funny since mickey rouke and ed norton have a better body of work than most mcu actors who dont even have anything apart from mcu movies. norton is a legend now. his work is even better than RDJ. LOL...Cameron did not loose his throne. no one can take cameron's throne because Cameron is a visionary and a real artist..while mcu movies are toy commercial childish nonsense with no real film making. Cameroon is a real film maker. mcu are not real movies.
Cameron says nothing about xmen because he knows DOFP is a real movie. he could have made it himself if he made his xmen films in the 90s. poor winter solider as usual. mcu fans still calling it a rip off does not change how the movie schooled winter solider.
speaking of mcu actors was this why winter solider failed so badly to DOFP. DOFP had Lawernce, Fassbander, Jackman, Mckellen, Stewart, Dinklarge who acted in the film since the fight scenes were limited and the movie was a drama .very acclaimed for their permanences to winter solider that had what? just mostly good looking action movie stars.
LOL..look at mcu fans tying to dismiss camerion and ed norton. it must be hard for them when this people tell the world mcu is garbage. those people are credible, since they have factually made and stared among the best films ever made...while mcu is seen as some of the dumbest movies ever made ....destroying cinema. Rourke has a good body of work. His only big movie of notice is The Wrestler. And Norton has a long list of supporting roles besides maybe Fight Club, American History X (didn't see it so don't know if Furlong was the star of it) and TIH. Cameron is a real remake artist. Has he ever made a movie that is not a sequel or a remake of another movie? The Abyss I guess. Maybe people will go see the next 4 Avatar movies...
DoFP had nostalgia. People were hoping for the return of the original cast. Most people weren't feeling the new cast. Also, you do know that Singer can't do action scenes right? All of his action scenes are super slow or is an idea taken from somewhere else. DoFP was a nostalgia trip even more than with the cast. Let's remake a previous time travel movie using a comic book as an excuse while at the same time plugging in exact scenes from a previous movie he did. That would get people thinking they like the movie when what they are doing is liking 3-4 previous movies. What action movie stars was in Winter Soldier? Robert Redford? I mean, he isn't the guy from 300, Assassin's Creed and Jonah Hex, but I guess he can hold his own.

ah, people (dumb mindless masses and kids) as disney says. some of them seem to be growing a brain, reason we now see more people siding with people that hate mcu movies. its is more laughable to go after ed nortion career than fassbender or cameron. ED has supporting roles. um, if I was to use your logic I will say the same for sam l jackson but I dont need to stoop as low as you.
DOFP was a film that needed the older cast for the story ....the movie beats winter solider for the film making, depth, themes and story style approach. that was why people called it a superior movie.
HM, reason I skipped redford. Redford is only equal to mckellen/stewart but it was about the main focus people in the film and this is easy.

its not even close even on the mcu board..mcu fans agreed xmen had the best cast. um, I think this is why black panther needs the race card with the actors of black panther/killmonger. xmen only needs the artistic talent and story to shine.I called iron man a poor man's batman. nice to know everyone said killmonger/black panther are a poor man's xavier/magneto even with the race baiting..lol
