You didn't answer me. Who is our body, if not us? Didn't you read the quote?
You simply don't understand that 'awareness' is not the body. It's using the body. In fact, it's outside the body as well. People who know how to meditate have described having their awareness be at a point outside of their body, and feeling more expansive awareness. Yes, the brain and body have 'chemicals', but it's awareness and consciousness that affects them. 'Chemicals' don't create awareness.
How does awareness and consciousness affect them? What does create awareness and how does it do it?
