Here’s a weird INTK, but I don’t think it’ll take that long to be solved–I remember I actually found the title once, but now I can’t remember what I typed into Google to figure it out (and unfortunately I don’t have access to my old computer, so I can’t look in history for what I searched). This was some kind of TV special in the mid 2000s, maybe a pilot for a TV show that never got picked up (I seem to remember it ended on a cliffhanger), that was pretty much a knock-off of The Da Vinci Code. The lead was a female museum curator who teamed up with a male FBI agent (I think…and they fall in love, yada yada yada, you know the drill) because these knights (!) in medieval armor attack her museum to steal some ancient relic. Now note that this is all set in the modern world, but this roaming band of knights attacks and slaughters a bunch of people and takes off with the relic. (They might have been supposed to be the Knights Templar–I may be conflating them, but for some reason I remember the lead knight looking like the Grail Knight in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.) It wasn’t particularly good, but I distinctly remember the incongruity of these medieval knights in a modern museum. There was something about them setting fire to something outside as well, and something about a pyramid (not the Pyramids of Giza–a more modernistic pyramid like the one at the Louvre). There was also a conspiracy, and (just like The Da Vinci Code) the knights were protecting this secret from being revealed. Anyone know what this is? For the life of me I’ve put all these combinations of words into Google and can’t come up with it. SOLVED by politicidal: The Last Templar, miniseries, 2009.
