That's kinda the point, things like these typically happen as a reaction against people whining about "religious freedom" and being able to plaster the 10 commandments on public property. When confronted with something like this, suddenly their cries of religious freedom go out the window and their hypocrisy becomes apparent. They have no one to blame but themselves. If you can point out the hypocrisy of people who whine about religious freedom. Then I can point out the hypocrisy and double standards of Eddy Hopper who wants to suppress religious freedom. Uh it's right there in the story the OP linked, some Christian organization called the Illinois Family Action was complaining about it. If it was a cross being displayed, somehow I doubt they would complain.
