I don't have a problem with her accent (didn't even notice anything wrong tbh) and I still don't think she deserves a nomination.

I have never been picky over accents anyway. It is the performance underneath the accent that matters to me most.

I do think she gives a good performance though, just not Oscar worthy.

An accent is part of a performance. If you're playing an American, and I keep hearing your English slip in, I think it matters. That's just me.
