So basically Marvel beat Marvel to the first black male hero movie. Actually DC was first with Steel the year before. Though it did take DC 7 years to have a black male hero headline a film. It took Marvel 1 year...and their first film. (DC have been involved in their film productions since 1990, Marvel since 1998)

First woman superheroine solo Captain Marvel 2019 when Catwoman came out in 2004 and Wonder Woman 2017.

Actually the first ever was Modesty Blasie in the 60's. And Marvel's first was Elektra in 2005. And as an aside...first female director of a CBM was a Marvel film

No gay characters to date - and whats worse Valkiriy supposedly was meant to be openly gay in Ragnarok but was ditched.

Actually she was bi-sexual not gay. And it wasn't the first time it was ignored...no mention of John Constantine's bisexuality in Constantine. No mention of Wonder Woman's bi-sexuality in Wonder Woman! No mention of Mystiques bisexuality in SIX X-Men Films.

Whitewashing Asian characters in the form of Mandarin and The Ancient One, when films like Wolverine in 2013 is set in Japan with a majority East Asian cast.

How is a half English half Gujarati man, playing a an English actor who is made up to look like a half English half mongolian man, whitewashing?

And calling the changing of a character completely fom an elderley Tibetan man, to a young Celtic woman (a character that was for years considered problematic for it's depiction of an Asian character) whitewashing seems a bit of a stretch.

Did you have issues with Ra's Al Ghul not being Arabic in Batman Begins. Did you have any issues with the numerous instance of "blackwashing" there have been? - Catwoman, Kingpin, Electro, Deadshot etc No of course you didn't...you only care about rattling cages and rufflingfeathers
