So basically Marvel beat Marvel to the first black male hero movie. Actually DC was first with Steel the year before. Though it did take DC 7 years to have a black male hero headline a film. It took Marvel 1 year...and their first film. (DC have been involved in their film productions since 1990, Marvel since 1998) We all know Disney-MCU and non Disney-Marvel, Sony-Marvel, Fox-Marvel are all different. Just because they have a Marvel logo slapped on doesn't make each brands approach and intentions the same. Still doesn't exclude Valkiriy having plans to have a female lover (angel scene) but was cut from the theatrical version. Mandarin and Ancient One are Asian characters in origin. No need to change them just because a few people might be offended by steroptyiping. Yeah I have problems with some of those, but this is an MCU topic. And you can add Bane being portrayed by Tom Hardy instead of a South American/Latino.
