Hulk Hogan vs Stone Cold Steve Austin. The biggest match to never happen. The hype would've been unlike any other on a professional, and on a personal level. The resentment between these two went back to when they were both apart of WCW, up to when Hulk Hogan returned to WWE back in 2002. By then, they both had already competed against each other during the Monday Night Wars, and an actual match between them would've been another reflection of WWE vs WCW, as well as a strictly WWE feud. With this said, their impact in the company was so strong, I can even see their appeal catching the attention of people such as Vince McMahon, Gene Okerlund, Jim Ross, The Rock, John Cena, and the nWo, all of whom would've probably weighed in on who they think would win the match.
The Macho Man vs The Rock. As if this match isn't already in alignment with the above, these two could probably pass as mirror images of each other, showing more commercialization within their characters than anybody else.
Jake The Snake Roberts vs Ric Flair. These two have only had a couple forgotten matches together, nothing solid. They're both legends with their own claim to fame, yet I still think they could come to a compromise. Ric Flair is the "dirtiest player" in the game, while Jake Roberts has a nickname based on the most sly animal around. With this said, they both have a lot of tricks up their sleeve, making an encounter between them to look unpredictable.
Roddy Piper vs CM Punk. These two don't have much in common in terms of actual wrestling, but their promo skills would still sell the match. CM Punk has said he was a huge Roddy Piper fan growing up, so they probably wouldn't really appear as strangers, even though they're from different eras.
Bret Hart vs Kurt Angle. Their backgrounds have made them two of the greatest in ring performers of all time, as they've put on many match of the year candidates, and specialized in the lengthiest of in ring bouts. On another note, they also referenced their appearance in honor of their backgrounds, which could've also helped with their chemistry in the ring.
Shawn Michaels vs AJ Styles. What I typed about Roddy Piper and CM Punk also applies to Shawn Michaels and AJ Styles, except more along the lines of actual wrestling.
Scott Hall vs Edge. I could see Scott Hall the "Bad Guy" and the first advocate for the nWo, trying to recruit Edge as a member of the group, but Edge would stick to his guns as the Rated "R" Superstar and use his gimmick against Scott Hall instead of forming an alliance with him.
The Undertaker vs Goldberg. These two probably had the biggest streaks in wrestling history, so naturally they would have to prove which was better in a match at WrestleMania.
Mr. Perfect vs John Cena. I would expect this match to be along the lines of AJ Styles vs John Cena from a couple years ago.
Batista vs Triple H. This is hardly a dream match, since they've fought a bunch of times in the past, but I can tell they're gonna have at it again, so I may as well just state the obvious.
