I never saw this film for probably lack of interest.

Check it out if it plays on tv. Robert Zemeckis originally cast Eric Stoltz as Marty McFly but he was replaced by Michael J. Fox. Lea Thompson took the role of Lorraine McFly only after first choice Jill Schoelen couldn't be secured; Thompson and Stoltz were both in 'The Wild Life' (1984) together and would go on to make 'Some Kind Of Wonderful' (1987).
