I am puzzled by your obsession, NOT with belief in a spirit world, but with coming on here and trying to convince people of your views on the soul, spirituality and the likelihood/necessity of there being a spirit world. If I had a firm belief in the spirit world and was convinced I, or someone else, had had an experience that indicated a spirit world existed, I'd enjoy it. Heck, I don't even think a spirit world exists and I am happy to believe my dead parents visit me in the form of small birds that often come into my garage while I'm working out there. The experience is palpable, I feel their presence and I enjoy it. I feel better the rest of the day. But in no way, shape or form, would I go parading around a websites and discussion threads trying to convince others that what I felt was anything but my imagination or something they should believe, believe in or seek. Why would I put my personal experiences out there for others to challenge or ridicule? Those feelings are mine and mine alone.
Why not imagine that YOU have a special gift, the YOU can "see color" while the rest of us go around seeing a monochromatic world? Why not relish the experience? Why no let it "make your day" so to speak? Why trouble yourself with us naysayers? Why do you do it?
And I'm puzzled as to why atheists would be on a board that's about everything they have disdain for (with the exception of Islam which they defend). I suspect it's only to make themselves feel superior by ridiculing those of faith. Well, if they can dish it out, they better be able to take it.
