edit: I just read the rest of the posts. I was not aware that Dustin Hoffman had already been cited by you and a couple others as a cutie!I had a little thing for Hoffman as a kid when I first saw Kramer vs Kramer when it came out. It was only short-lived and I think it was the warm father figure role model aspect that I like in character too. I wasn't quite getting that from my own old man. I liked the book too and how Ted was presented. He was a warm and generous kind man. KvK is very much a pro-male story.
