The "bah, humbug" thread - what irritates you during the holidays?

The week and a half off work Christmas eve through after New Years. I always start a moderately complex home project that I think can be finished in 10 days but it ends up taking 2 months. Spiraling into a world of drinking and depression, while working on my project. Being alone New Years eve. Getting accustomed to complete disorganization and staying up until sunrise and sleeping until 4:00 p.m. by the end of the break.
