Well, I got it in August and have watched it...at least 10 times. For some reason, it's a perfect movie for me to unwind and relax to even though it's kind of violent. I like watching Dwayne Johnson in that role...it fits and the other supporting actors did an excellent job. The story is admittedly hokey, but then, it was fun. Was Jeffrey Dean Morgan any good in it ? Based on the Trailers and TV Spots that I saw for it, it looks (to me at least) like he plays a 'Negan' type character in it. I'm not exactly sure what a 'Negan" type role is...I googled it and seems like it's a bad guy type character. Is that right? Not sure how much "spoilage" you want but, no, he's not a bad guy. He turns out to be a good guy on the side of right and justice even if he comes across a bit antagonistic at first. I think that was part of the plot...they tried to make him "look" like a bad guy. |
