Cool. Keep that hope alive. Until then, you should probably stop watching MCU films. If you're not used to the way they make movies by now, you never will be. Or you can keep complaining about something that clearly wasn't made for you and doesn't suit your tastes. Your choice of course. I watch MCU movies because they are in one of my favourite genres of film, same reason i watch all CBMs, to see what state the genre is in and where its heading. If that involves watching MCU films which are mostly medoicre and exposing theyr weaknesses then i will continue to do it. So you enjoy torturing yourself for some needless cause by watching movies you know you're going to hate and then complaining about it? Sounds healthy. You know how the MCU works and you know what to expect. They aren't going to change. Their films are doing well and will continue to do so. The genre isn't in any danger by anyone's standards other than yours and your fellow haters that are in a small minority. Stomping your feet isn't going to change anything. Do yourself a favor. Just hitch your wagon to anything other than the MCU and you should be fine. The DCEU is still out there. You've got the Sony Spider-verse. There's a new Hellboy moving coming. The new Watchmen series on HBO (dark and grounded, just how you like it). Plenty of other options for you.
