Brazilian Director Glauber Rocha achieved international fame with his magnificent film trilogy, Deus e o Diabo na Terra do Sol , Black God, White Devil (1964) Terra em Transe , Entranced Earth (1967) and O Dragão da Maldade contra o Santo Guerreiro , Antonio das Mortes (1969), winning awards such as Best Director at Cannes. His films are renowned for their strongly-expressed political themes and are laced with much mysticism and folklore. Rohca was a founder of the Cinema Novo the Brazilian the New Wave" he had a unique creative style, avant-garde and experimental, outspoken he reflected...
