A rather shaky start though. There wasn't another commercially succesful superhero film until 10 years after it (Batman 89), and any super hero film that wasn't Batman related didn't too well in the 90s (it was the first Xmen film that finally opened up the commercial potential for super hero films) Burton, Singer and Nolan made CBM cash cows but Feige made CMB into boring formulaic films |
