I don't really go with a match being "too big for the title." Outside a retirement match, there shouldn't be any match bigger than your world title because that should be the most important prize in your company. Ambrose and Rollins are fueding right now over the exact title they should be given their positions. If you have the same two guys fueding for your top title it just cheapens that title. However if The Rock is willing to come out of retirement and go through 29 other men for a shot at the dominant monster champion, that tells me that the world title is exactly as important as it should be. Not necessarily "bigger" than the title, but certainly not needing the title. The first Wrestlemania main event. Rock vs Hogan is another good example. Rock vs Cena 1 is also a good example. Some matches don't need a title to sell. Exactly. You add the title stip/prop to sell the match, not the other way around.
