Nah, don't agree. If you're regularly having your top title contested between two upper mids third match on the card, then it won't mean anything pretty quickly. And the state RAW is in, the Universal Title needs a marquee match like this a lot more than it needs geeks like Rollins or Balor trying to win it. In fairness Rollins can posdibly still be salvaged. Way too late for Finn. The title doesn't need a marquee match. What the title needs is a strong contender who hasn't been booked inconsistently. If Rollins is built up properly, he can be the slayer to bring down Brock. It's never too late to salvage anyone. If done properly. Before Austin 3:16, Stone Cold was being schooled by Savio Vega in lower card matches. Finn can easily be saved by booking him and promoting him as a star. |
