Penny Marshall has died

I've liked her since she was Myrna Turner on The Odd Couple. One of my favorite scenes from that show: after she breaks up with her longtime boyfriend Sheldn (sic), played by her then-husband, Rob Reiner, Felix tries to give her lessons in being more charming and seductive with men. He tells her to walk and talk more attractively, and asks her to come up with a witty conversation-starter to use at cocktail parties. Her attempt(in her new, "sexy" voice): "Have you ever been to a leper colony?"

It's a shame she only made seven movies; A League of Their Own is the best baseball film of all time, and Big and
Awakenings were wonderful, too. Her recent biography was enjoyable, too (listen to it on CD for that memorable Marshall accent). RIP.
